In the process of complete denture restoration, it is very important to determine the jaw relation, which is usually done with the upper and lower occlusion base. The wax rim is one of the components of occlusion base. The traditional way to make a wax rim is to bake the wax sheet soft and roll it into a wax strip with a diameter of about 0.8-1.0cm during the preparation of jaw relation record, which makes the operation more tedious and let the patients wait longer. In order to improve the efficiency, we make the wax rim a finished product. Its shape is a horseshoe shaped, and it has two colors: red and blue. The two colors represent different hardness, which can meet different temperature environment. The wax rim is a whole body, which is easy to operate and saves time for dentists. It can be used as a functional balanced bite wax.
